Lyra translates everyday life in paintings, drawings and collages. But nothing he does is figurative or linear. With a very unique style, he creates images with layers of colored acrylic paint, oil, spray, pilot, stencils, photos, digital montages, resin and transparencies. The technique will vary from canvas to canvas. Some screens refer to his childhood in Leblon and to create them he departed from maps and satellite photos of the neighborhood.
 
His paintings are an explosion of accumulated energy, expansion, creation and destruction, the universe in colors. From the unfolding of urban constructions, the series build an interesting game between material, color and space.
